What K.AI.DO is
K.AI.DO is a portfolio and directory for adult creators of AI characters — a place to showcase characters, worlds, and lore you’re proud of, and route people to the platforms where those characters live. It is not a porn site, and it is not a chat platform. We encourage freedom in your creations; we ask for standards in how they’re presented here. Everything below is the legal version of that simple idea.
1
Who we are and what these terms do
K.AI.DO (“K.AI.DO”, “the platform”, “we”, “us”) is an online directory and showcase platform for AI roleplay characters, worlds (“universes”), lorebooks, and related creative content, operated by the operator and creator of K.AI.DO, based in Queensland, Australia.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and the operator of K.AI.DO. By creating an account, verifying your age, or using the platform, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use K.AI.DO.
K.AI.DO is an adults-only platform. This is a hard rule, not a guideline.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher, to use K.AI.DO.
Every account must complete age verification through our third-party verification provider before accessing the platform. We do not collect or store your date of birth.
By verifying, you represent that you meet the age requirement. If we believe an account was verified by or is used by someone underage, we will suspend or terminate it immediately.
You must not allow anyone underage to access K.AI.DO through your account or device.
3
Your account
You sign in through a third-party identity provider (Discord or Google). You’re responsible for keeping those credentials and your account secure, and for everything that happens under your account.
Provide accurate information. Don’t impersonate another person or creator.
Choose names that don’t impersonate or attack. Handles, display names, and page names must not impersonate K.AI.DO staff, moderation, or the platform itself, and must not contain slurs or hate terms. Some names are blocked automatically; trying to sneak around the block is itself a breach. Names that break this rule may be renamed or reclaimed — and the breach counts like any other (see Section 11).
One person per account; don’t share, sell, or transfer your account.
Tell us at legal@kaidohub.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these Terms (see Section 11).
4
Your content
4.1 You own what you make
You keep all rights to the content you create and upload to K.AI.DO — characters, universes, lorebooks, writing, images, audio, and other materials (“Your Content”).
4.2 License you give us
To run the platform, you grant K.AI.DO a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute Your Content only as needed to operate and improve the platform — for example, displaying your pages to visitors and showing your content in browse listings and search to the audience you chose.
We don’t claim ownership of Your Content, and we won’t sell it. We will not feature Your Content in external promotions, social media, advertising, or marketing outside the platform without your explicit prior consent. This license ends when you delete Your Content or your account, except for reasonable backup and caching periods and content other users have already downloaded (see 4.5). We may decline to host, or remove, Your Content at our discretion — including for legal compliance, takedown requests, or violations of these Terms — and we are not obligated to host any content.
4.3 Your promises about Your Content
By uploading content, you promise that:
You own it or have the rights and permissions needed to post it.
You won’t publish content created by someone else — whether you claim it as your own or repost it “with credit”. Credit is not permission; if you didn’t create it (and aren’t authorized), you don’t post it. Proven theft of another creator’s work results in a permanent ban.
It doesn’t infringe anyone’s copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights.
It complies with these Terms, including the content rules in Section 6.
You’re legally responsible for Your Content. If a third party claims your content infringes their rights, that’s between you and them — and you agree to cover us if we face claims because of content you posted.
4.4 Original characters and existing IP
K.AI.DO hosts both original characters (OCs) and characters based on existing intellectual property (“IP characters”). If you create IP-based content:
You are responsible for ensuring your use is lawful in your circumstances.
K.AI.DO does not review, clear, endorse, or claim any rights in third-party IP, and the platform’s “IP from” classification is descriptive only — it implies no affiliation with or endorsement by any rights holder.
Rights holders may request removal at any time (see Section 8).
4.5 Downloads and external links
K.AI.DO does not host downloads. Creators may link to external sites where their characters and related files can be downloaded (for example, their own file-hosting or community pages). What that means:
Downloads happen entirely on third-party sites we don’t operate. We’re not responsible for those sites, their files, their availability, or their practices — you follow external links at your own judgment.
Unless a creator states otherwise, downloaded content is for personal, non-commercial use only. If you download someone’s content, respect the creator’s stated terms and don’t re-upload or redistribute it as your own.
4.6 Content we host is not ours
Pages, characters, warnings, descriptions, and other content on K.AI.DO are created by users, not by us. We don’t endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy of user content, and we’re not responsible for it.
5
Mature content and content filtering
K.AI.DO permits mature (18+) content because all users are age-verified adults. There is no single “mature” switch — instead, the platform runs on honest tagging and user-controlled filtering:
Creators tag honestly. Content-warning tags describe the character, universe, or bot — its themes, dynamics, and kinks — so users can make informed choices. Content you publish on your K.AI.DO pages must never exceed what your tags would lead a reader to expect. Tags are a courtesy and discovery tool, not a legal safe harbor — Section 6 applies to everything regardless of tags.
Users control what they see. Every user can exclude specific tags from their browse results, feeds, and discovery surfaces, and can change those exclusions at any time in their account settings. Content matching a tag you’ve excluded is hidden from you; tapping a direct link to excluded content shows a notice first so you can choose to proceed or go back.
Prohibited content is removed, not filtered. Filtering is for taste; it is never a shield for content that breaks Section 6.
6
Content rules — what's not allowed
The following is prohibited on K.AI.DO, in any content, tag, name, image, or link. Our Content Guidelines form part of these Terms and explain how these rules apply in practice — tagging duties, the media standard for images, text, and audio, visibility, and enforcement. Breaking the Content Guidelines is breaking these Terms.
Illegal content — content that is itself illegal to create, publish, or possess under Australian law or the law of your jurisdiction. This means content that breaks the law by existing (such as CSAM, genuine threats, or incitement to real crimes) — not fiction that depicts illegal acts, which is permitted subject to the other rules in this section.
Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form, including sexualized depictions of minors, real or fictional, drawn, written, or AI-generated. This explicitly includes “loli”, “shota”, and “lolicon/shotacon” content — a character presented, written, or drawn as childlike in a sexual context is prohibited no matter what age the text claims. Zero tolerance; reported to authorities where required.
Real people — sexual, deceptive, or abusive content:
No sexual or intimate content depicting real, identifiable people (including deepfakes and sexualized “celeb” characters).
No characters or content designed to mock, belittle, harass, defame, or impersonate a real person.
Clearly fictional, non-sexual characters inspired by public figures are permitted, provided they are presented as fiction or parody, are not deceptive, and are not built to demean the person. We will remove such content on request from the person depicted or their representative — no argument, no fuss.
Sexual violence — endorsement, not fiction: content that promotes, instructs, or encourages sexual violence as acceptable real-world conduct is prohibited. Fictional dark themes are not endorsement. Mature fiction and roleplay between fictional adult characters — including non-consent themes — is permitted when it is clearly fictional and carries honest content-warning tags. The test we apply: is this a story, or is it an argument or instruction aimed at real behavior? Stories (even dark ones) are allowed; advocacy and instructions are not.
Bestiality of a sexual nature.
Content sexualizing real minors’ media — sexualized use of characters canonically depicted as children.
Extreme real-world harm — instructions or encouragement for self-harm, suicide, terrorism, or violence against real people or groups.
Hate content — content attacking people based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, sex, sexual orientation, or gender identity. (Depictions within fiction are distinct from promotion of hatred; we judge the difference.)
Doxxing and privacy violations — posting anyone’s private personal information without consent.
Malware, phishing, and scams — malicious links, deceptive schemes, spam, or commercial advertising outside designated creator support links.
Circumvention — attempting to bypass age verification, visibility controls, blocks, or moderation actions, or re-uploading removed content.
We make the final call on edge cases, in good faith, considering context and severity. If you’re unsure whether something is allowed, ask legal@kaidohub.com before posting.
7
Acceptable use of the platform
You agree not to:
Harass, threaten, or abuse other users, on or via the platform.
Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download the platform or other users’ content without written permission, or interfere with the platform’s operation (excessive requests, exploits, reverse engineering of security controls).
Attack the platform — including denial-of-service attempts, probing or testing vulnerabilities without permission, attempting unauthorized access to accounts, data, or infrastructure, or deliberately causing downtime or costs. You are responsible for the reasonable costs of investigating and remediating an attack traceable to you.
Use another user’s account, or create accounts to evade suspension.
Misrepresent your identity, your age, or your affiliation with any person or rights holder.
Use K.AI.DO for any unlawful purpose.
Respect other creators’ content
Content on K.AI.DO belongs to the creators who made it. Having an account means you’re trusted with access to their work — don’t abuse that:
You may not copy, save, scrape, or redistribute another user’s content — on or off the platform — without that creator’s permission, except for your own personal, private use (e.g. downloading a character card to chat with, as intended).
Claiming another user’s content as your own, anywhere, is a permanent ban. If it’s proven that you took content from K.AI.DO and republished it elsewhere as your own work, your account will be terminated. (The copyright stays with the original creator, so any legal claim is theirs — but access to K.AI.DO is ours, and thieves lose it.)
You may not use content from K.AI.DO to build a competing directory, dataset, or service, or to train AI models, without written permission from us and the relevant creators.
Respect the platform
K.AI.DO’s name, logo, visual identity, written copy (including these Terms, the Content Guidelines, and site text), and source code are ours. You may not copy them, use confusingly similar branding, or reproduce substantial parts of the site’s design or copy to build a lookalike service. Being inspired by what a good platform does is fine; cloning it isn’t.
8
Copyright takedowns (DMCA-style notice process)
If you believe content on K.AI.DO infringes your copyright, send a notice to dmca@kaidohub.com including:
Your name and contact details.
Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
The URL(s) of the allegedly infringing content on K.AI.DO.
A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by you, your agent, or the law.
A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for them.
Your physical or electronic signature.
We will review valid notices promptly and remove or disable access to infringing content where warranted. We may notify the uploader, and uploaders who believe removal was a mistake may submit a counter-notice to the same address explaining why. If we find a counter-notice valid, we notify the original complainant; unless they inform us they have filed a court action within 10 to 14 business days, we restore the content. Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated. The full process is on the Copyright & Takedowns page.
Pages on K.AI.DO have visibility settings: Private (only you), URL-only (not listed in browse or search, but viewable by any signed-in, age-verified user with the direct link), and Public (visible to all signed-in, age-verified users). We enforce these settings on the platform, but we cannot prevent viewers from screenshotting, copying, or re-sharing anything they can see. Treat anything public — or shared by link — as public.
Private pages are designed not to reveal their existence to anyone but you; URL-only pages reveal nothing unless the link is shared.
9A
Donations and creator support
Creators may link to third-party support pages (e.g. Ko-fi, Patreon) so users who enjoy their work can support them. The rules:
Donations are strictly voluntary. They are support for work you enjoy — never a purchase, and never a condition of anything.
No paywalling, on or via the platform. Creators may not make anything on K.AI.DO conditional on payment: no gating pages, “Where to Find” links, downloads, or any platform feature behind donations (“donate and I’ll let you see it”), and no using a K.AI.DO presence as a funnel or advertisement for paid access elsewhere. Whatever a creator publishes on K.AI.DO must be fully and freely accessible on K.AI.DO. What a creator offers off-platform is their business — but what they share here is shared fully.
K.AI.DO does not process or hold money and is not a party to any donation. We are not responsible for anything related to donations — including whether they’re honored, refunded, or used as described. Creators and users must follow the rules and terms of the platform where the donation happens.
Donations can’t be a disguised sale — not for copyrighted material the creator doesn’t own, not for physical goods, not for anything where “support” is really a transaction.
Users: verify before you send. Make sure the platform you’re donating on is legitimate. If a link looks suspicious, or a creator demands payment for access, report it to abuse@kaidohub.com.
Donations are between you, the creator, and the donation platform. That platform’s own terms and policies apply to the transaction — including any refund rules. Whether a donation can be refunded is governed by those terms and applicable law; K.AI.DO has no role in processing or reversing donations and cannot issue refunds for them.
If the platform later accepts donations toward operating K.AI.DO itself, they will be voluntary contributions, not purchases, and non-refundable except where required by law. If paid features ever exist, their refund terms — including no refunds on termination for serious Terms violations, except where the law requires — will be published before launch.
10
Moderation and enforcement
K.AI.DO is operated by a small team, and enforcement is at our sole discretion, exercised in good faith. Depending on severity, we may remove or restrict content, apply or require content warnings, restrict features or visibility, or suspend or terminate accounts, with or without prior notice. Serious violations (illegal content, CSAM, evasion) result in immediate termination and, where required, reports to authorities.
We’re not obligated to monitor all content, and choosing not to act in one case doesn’t waive our right to act in another.
Content restoration. When we remove content for a rules violation (rather than for a legal takedown), it enters a 30-day soft-deletion window during which we can restore it if the removal was a mistake or the issue is resolved. After 30 days it is permanently deleted. Content removed under Section 8 (copyright) follows the process in that section instead.
11
Termination
You may delete your account at any time by emailing legal@kaidohub.com from the address linked to your account. (A self-serve deletion option in account settings is planned.) We’ll remove your account and content within 30 days, subject to backup cycles (which roll off on their normal schedule) and legal obligations.
We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms, for legal or safety reasons, or if the platform shuts down (with reasonable notice where practicable).
On termination, your right to use K.AI.DO ends. Sections that by nature should survive (ownership, licenses for already-downloaded content, disclaimers, liability limits, governing law) survive termination.
12
Disclaimers
K.AI.DO is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We don’t warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, that content will be preserved, or that user content is accurate, safe, or rights-cleared.
AI roleplay characters and related content are creative works for entertainment. Nothing on K.AI.DO is professional, medical, legal, or psychological advice.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13
Limitation of liability
In plain terms: if something goes wrong, there’s a legal cap on what can be claimed from us — this section is that cap. It applies to the maximum extent permitted by law (and subject to your non-excludable rights under the Australian Consumer Law):
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses — including lost data, lost profits, or loss of goodwill — arising from your use of K.AI.DO.
Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the platform is limited to the greater of AUD $100 or the amount you paid us (if anything) in the 12 months before the claim.
14
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the platform evolves. If changes are material, we’ll give reasonable notice (for example, a notice on the site or by email) before they take effect, and the “last updated” date will change. Continuing to use K.AI.DO after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you don’t accept them, stop using the platform and delete your account.
15
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. You and we agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state or territory.
Nothing in this section limits any rights you have under mandatory local consumer-protection laws in your place of residence.
16
Severability
If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that part is read down or removed only to the extent necessary, and the rest of the Terms continue in full force.
17
Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or transfer of the platform, provided the assignee honors the commitments made here.
18
Force majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in operating the platform caused by events beyond our reasonable control — including natural disasters, power or network failures, hosting or third-party provider outages, war, or government action.
